Frequently asked questions.

Clear answers for distributors, dealers, fleets and mobility brands evaluating China sourcing.
01

What information is needed for an accurate quotation?

Please share the destination country, expected quantity, target retail position, preferred motor and battery, required speed and range, certification pathway, branding scope and target delivery window. This lets us distinguish a sample estimate from a production-ready quotation and prevents unsuitable configurations from being presented as market-ready.

02

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ depends on the model, customization level and production schedule. A standard-color platform may support a lower entry quantity than a new frame color, custom mould, private-label battery or CKD program. We confirm the applicable MOQ in writing after the model and destination requirements are reviewed; the website does not publish a universal MOQ that may mislead buyers.

03

Can I order a sample before mass production?

Sample and pilot orders can be evaluated by model. Before payment, we confirm the sample configuration, available documents, price, preparation time, shipping method and whether the sample specification can be repeated in mass production. A sample is intended for product evaluation and does not automatically prove local road legality; the buyer should verify destination requirements.

04

How long does production take?

Lead time varies with model availability, battery specification, branding, certification work, order quantity and seasonal factory capacity. We provide a working schedule after configuration approval and update it when artwork, deposits and sample sign-off are complete. Freight transit and customs clearance are quoted separately from production time because they depend on route and destination.

05

Can VoltEdge support OEM and private-label programs?

Yes. Branding, graphics, selected components, packaging and documentation can be scoped after the model, quantity and destination market are confirmed. Typical work can include logo placement, color direction, carton artwork, manuals and component selection. Any safety-critical or compliance-related change is reviewed before it is accepted into the commercial specification.

06

Which certification documents can be supplied?

Available pathways vary by product, exact configuration and market. Typical references include EEC/COC or DOT/EPA pathways for selected motorcycles, CE/EN15194 references for applicable e-bikes, and UN38.3/MSDS documentation for lithium-battery transport. We do not treat a logo or marketing badge as proof; document scope and model applicability must be checked before order confirmation.

07

How are payment terms confirmed?

Payment terms are stated on the formal quotation or sales contract after the supplier, model, quantity and production plan are confirmed. Buyers should pay only to the company account shown on approved commercial documents and should re-check any requested bank-account change through a known contact channel. No payment instruction is created or changed through the public website.

08

How are shipping and import arrangements handled?

We can coordinate export packing, lithium-battery documentation, loading information and freight options according to the agreed Incoterm. The importer remains responsible for confirming local import permissions, duties, taxes, registration and road-use rules unless a separate written service states otherwise. Route, cost and transit time are confirmed for each shipment rather than assumed from a generic estimate.

09

What battery documents are normally required?

Lithium-battery shipments commonly require UN38.3 test documentation, an MSDS and carrier-appropriate dangerous-goods preparation. The exact file set depends on battery model, packing method, transport mode and carrier. We match the battery identification on the commercial specification to the available documentation before shipment planning.

10

What warranty and spare-parts support is available?

Warranty scope, exclusions, claim evidence and spare-parts planning are defined by product and order. For distributor programs, we recommend agreeing a starter spare-parts list, diagnostic workflow and responsible contact before shipment. Final warranty terms appear in the signed commercial documents; a general website statement does not replace those model-specific terms.

11

Can you offer territory exclusivity?

Territory or channel exclusivity is considered only through a separate written agreement covering models, geography, minimum purchase commitments, brand use, performance periods and review conditions. An inquiry, sample purchase or ordinary production order does not create exclusivity. This protects both the buyer and the supply program from unclear expectations.

12

Do you offer CKD, SKD or mixed-container supply?

Selected platforms can support CKD/SKD or mixed-container planning, subject to market rules, assembly capability, packaging engineering and factory approval. Buyers should identify local assembly capacity, required component separation and customs classification early so the proposed format can be evaluated before sampling or production.
